DAVENPORT UNIVERSITY GIVES TUITION DISCOUNT TO AUTOMATION ALLEY MEMBER COMPANIES
Employees at more than 1,000 Southeast Michigan companies offered 25 percent reduced tuition
Davenport University (DU) announced today that it is offering a 25 percent discounted tuition rate on the university’s more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs to all Automation Alley member organizations’ employees.
“It is important now more than ever for Michigan’s workforce to invest in its education,” said Steve Hughes, Executive MBA program director, Davenport University. “We are honored to offer employees at Automation Alley member companies the opportunity to strengthen their futures by furthering their educations.”
Automation Alley is Southeast Michigan’s technology business association, connecting government, business and education. It represents more than 1,000 technology companies, acting as a catalyst to enhance the image of the region and help member companies expand their business opportunities. DU has been an Automation Alley member for three years and continues to support Southeast Michigan through its Livonia and Warren locations, in addition to its online classes and 14 locations throughout Michigan.
“Employers throughout Michigan are looking for ways to cut costs, and often higher-learning benefits are the first to go,” said Ken Rogers, executive director, Automation Alley. “We are excited to partner with Davenport University to facilitate the progress of Southeast Michigan’s workers, sustain them in their careers and prepare them for Michigan’s evolving economy.”
DU is hosting informational meetings about the tuition benefits of the more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs the university has to offer in business, health and technology. Meetings will be held at the following Davenport locations in April.
