President Obama’s Workforce Retraining Initiative brings workers new educational opportunities for job retraining in high-demand IT careers. Cisco Networking Academy, in collaboration with colleges across the State of Michigan, including Davenport University, will offer online classes with hands-on training in two important IT areas — broadband infrastructure and healthcare IT.

Davenport University is proud to offer a Cisco Network Certification Fastrack Program with an Enhanced Health Care focus. The five month program is currently offered at Davenport’s Warren campus and available based on enrollment requests in Livonia, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Midland. Prospective students for this training program do not need to currently hold a degree or certification in IT or health care.
