Faculty-led Study Abroad
Choose from a variety of programs in countries around the world.
London-Paris
The London-Paris Study Abroad program is offered each year for a three- week period, usually beginning in mid- to late-June. Read more. View slide show.
Ningbo, China
Through academic and experiential learning, students will develop a greater appreciation of artistic, literary, cultural, and historical aspects of Chinese culture. The experience takes place over about three weeks in May each year.
Japan
This study abroad experience was developed to provide students with the opportunity to visit multiple cities in Japan while studying there.
Germany/EU
An opportunity to visit higher education institutions, business enterprises, government organizations and points of interest in multiple cities in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands is the focus of this study abroad experience. This organization leads cultural exchange programs throughout the world.
AIFS and its family of companies organize cultural exchange programs throughout the world for more than 50,000 students each year and arrange insurance coverage for participants.

Partnerships
Davenport has partnerships with universities in Rome and Amsterdam. Take courses for a semester or for a full academic year.
John Cabot University - Rome, Italy
Davenport University students may attend a summer program, one semester or one full academic year. They will be treated as full members of John Cabot University and will have access to the library, computer lab and all other facilities on the same basis as JCU degree seeking students. The best available housing will be secured for all Davenport students.

INHOLLAND UNIVERSITY - Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Davenport University has a joint degree program with INHOLLAND University (formerly Hogeschool-Holland ), which allows students the following two options:
- Students may take one semester of study at INHOLLAND University (at the Davenport tuition rate) and credits will apply directly to the student's degree program. (Prior approval required.)
- Students may opt to spend one full academic year doing course-work at INHOLLAND University (at the Davenport tuition rate). The full academic year program may include a for-credit internship with an international business enterprise in The Netherlands.
By successfully completing this full academic year course of study at INHOLLAND University and meeting all Davenport requirements, the student will be eligible for two institutional degrees - one from Davenport University and one from INHOLLAND University.

Consortium Agreements
Participate in a joint program with Michigan State University in Shiga University in Japan.
Consortium agreements are arranged so that students from several Michigan or U.S. colleges/universities can share in the benefit of a specific study abroad experience. Davenport University is currently working with the Japan Center for Michigan Universities. This agreement is with Shiga University and Michigan State University, which offers Davenport students the opportunity to take a semester of study at Shiga University. |
