Davenport is helping Future for Frontliners graduates further their education with a new $8,000 scholarship
Davenport University has created a scholarship program to help Future for Frontliners graduates further their education.
Davenport’s new Beyond Future for Frontliners Scholarship provides up to $8,000 for up to 30 credits per academic year for up to four years and is prorated per credit hour. The Beyond Future for Frontliners Scholarship will support students who graduate from a community college with the Future for Frontliners scholarship and are looking to earn a bachelor’s degree or certificate, or take additional professional development programs to enhance their skills.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- Approved to receive or currently receiving the Frontliner Scholarship at a Community College
- Must enroll at DU within 12 months after attending at a community college or 12 months after receiving approval to receive the Frontliner Scholarship
- Must be a new student to Davenport University
(Anyone who has not taken a Davenport University class in the last 24 months)
How do I get started?
- Apply to Davenport University
- Connect with an admissions representative by calling 800.686.1600 or emailing info@davenport.edu
- Complete the Tuition Grant Application and select: Beyond Future Frontliners Scholarship from the partner name drop-down box.
- Submit proof of eligibility to Student Financial Services by submitting the below paperwork to Financial Services

Is the scholarship renewable?
Yes, the Beyond Future for Frontliners Scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years.
How many credits can I take per year?
The scholarship is prorated and is available for up to 30 credits per year. Should you take a full course load of 30 credits, you’d be eligible for the total $8,000.
Is there a specific date range for eligibility for the scholarship?
Must enroll at DU within 12 months after stopping enrollment at a community college or 12 months after receiving confirmation of eligibility of the Frontliner Scholarship.
Is this scholarship stackable?
The scholarship cannot be stacked with any other Davenport scholarships but can be stacked with outside scholarships, grants or government funding.
How often will paperwork be collected/reviewed for approval of scholarship?
Paperwork is required during the admission process for proof of eligibility. Documentation is only required one time.
How do the students prove eligibility?
Submit proof of eligibility to receive the Frontliner Scholarship.

Are there any program exclusions?
Yes, Occupational Therapy is excluded from this scholarship.
