The Office of Sponsored Programs and Grant Development has written and put into place policies and procedures by which Davenport and its employees are to prepare and submit (pre-award) and implement, manage, report on, and closeout (post-award and compliance) all federal and private grants awarded to employees of the University and, as such, to the University. All policies and procedures were written to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws as well as sponsor and program regulation.
