Davenport University has dedicated over 150 years to connecting students with degree programs that pave the way toward successful careers. Today, we continue these efforts through a partnership with Latin Americans United for Progress. This partnership supports the mission of building bridges to opportunities and pathways to success. 

We are passionate about helping you begin or advance your career through affordable, accessible, career-focused education. We’re committed to removing barriers so you can continue your education. 

Whether you’re enrolled in the ¡Adelante!, ¡Más Adelante! or the Educate, Elevate! Workforce Development Program, Davenport University will support you with generous tuition scholarships, free foreign credential reviews and, in some cases, credit toward your degree. You can also apply for free.

Benefits for ¡Adelante! Program graduates 

  • Up to $9,200 toward tuition for Casa Latina undergraduate programs 
  • Up to $7,000 toward tuition for general Davenport University undergraduate programs 
  • No application fee 
  • Graduates of the ¡Adelante! Program who meet Davenport University admission requirements will receive direct admittance upon high school graduation  

Benefits for participants of the Educate, Elevate! Workforce Development Program

  • Up to $9,200 toward tuition for Casa Latina undergraduate programs or $5,000 for Casa Latina graduate programs 
  • Up to $7,000 toward tuition for general Davenport University undergraduate programs or $3,800 for graduate programs 
  • Free foreign credentials assessments 
  • No application fee  

Benefits for ¡Mas Adelante! Program graduates 

  • Up to $9,200 toward tuition for Casa Latina undergraduate programs 
  • Up to $7,000 toward tuition for general Davenport University undergraduate programs 
  • Free foreign credentials assessments
  • No application fee 
  • Graduates of the ¡Mas Adelante! Program will receive three (3) course credits toward their Davenport University degree program

Next steps

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are enrolled in the ¡Más Adelante! Program or are participating in the Educate, Elevate Workforce Development Program and would like to apply for Davenport University, please complete the application steps below. Students younger than high school juniors should not apply until their junior year of high school. 

Step 1 | Apply for admission to Davenport University

  • Be sure to identify LAUP as your referral

Step 2 | Receive notification of your acceptance to the university

  • Once accepted, you will receive information on your student ID and login

Step 3 | Register and enroll in classes

*Scholarship can be applied to most undergraduate and graduate programs. Tuition scholarships are available to new students who have not taken for-credit courses within the prior 24 months. This scholarship is available to new students starting courses on or after 8/23/24. Students are admitted as regular Davenport University students.
