Financial Planning Specialty

Our Bachelor of Finance degree also offers a specialty focus in Financial Planning. This concentration will be of interest to you if you want to become a financial advisor to individuals or businesses.

Davenport’s financial planning specialty is a registered program with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, INC. (CFP)®. This means that when you complete the specialty courses with your major, you have guaranteed eligibility to sit for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP)® exam, without the lengthy application process that non-registered program students must submit. By passing this exam you certify that you are qualified to practice independently as a financial planner.

A BBA in Finance can be completed in-seat or online.
