This unique pathway allows you to earn both a Bachelor of Science in health and human service case management and a Master of Arts in mental health counseling — all in less time and with fewer credits.
Graduate with your bachelor’s and master’s degrees in just 14 semesters, or five years — a year sooner than if you enrolled in the programs separately. Take your HHSCM undergrad coursework online through Davenport’s Global Campus or in person at our Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Warren or Midland campuses. Then complete your mental health counseling graduate courses entirely online, followed by on-site practicum and internship experiences.
Graduating with your bachelor’s degree in HHSCM means you’ll be eligible to sit for the Certified Case Management (CCM) Exam as well as the Human Services Board-Certified Practitioner Exam (HS-BSP) The master’s program will also prepare you to sit for currently recognized licensing exams because Davenport University’s program coursework and learning outcomes align with the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP) standards. These standards meet the state of Michigan’s licensing requirements and those of many other states. Our admissions experts can assist you in determining licensing eligibility.
