Sign up for benefits with the Veterans Administration

VETERANS WHO WISH TO ATTEND DAVENPORT UNIVERSITY AND USE VETERANS BENEFITS MUST FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW: 

Go to  https://benefits.va.gov/gibill/ GI Bill® is a registered Trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

• Click on Education Benefits

• Click on How to Apply Benefits

• Complete application and make sure that the application is signed

Students may submit one of the following to begin the certifying process:

• The Post-9/11 GI Bill® Statement of Benefits from Vets.gov

• Certificate of Eligibility – COE

• eBenefits

• Chapter 31–1905 (approval form sent electronically)

All VA students will be required to submit either a Certificate of Eligibility-COE or the Benefits Statement from VA.gov

NOTE: eBenefits cannot be the only form used as proof of VA eligibility.

Students who transfer from another institution must submit a Request for Change of Program or Place of Training (VA Form 22-1995).
